I will start it off..
I feel the Dodgers overall won the draft, they went for talent regardless of cost just like the real Dodgers. I feel he has the most overall talent but based on cap space he might lose some RFA talent when the bidding starts..
Key weaknesses are 1B and SP ( If Beckett bounces back and Soriano locks in a closers role then he looks a little better)
Some of his RFA contracts are talented and if he is able to secure the majority of them he could be a player in the league as soon as this year..
Strengths are in the infield with Lawrie, Pedroia, Santana and Andrus he has built a very good core that will be under contract for a few yrs.
2nd I would go with the Cardinals, He went for balance as well as conserving cash and secured a solid group of RFAs.
Key Weaknesses are SP, 2B and 3B (no real studs to help out on the RFA side this team can possibly make some moves and some RFA steals with the cap space.. If some of the RFA SP are retained the SP becomes a strength.)
Key Strengths are 1B, C and OF (Fielder is a stud, Perez looked to be the real deal when he played last year and with Reddick, Beltran and Jennings there is real potential for a great OF Espicially if he can retain Ellesbury)
3rd I would give to the Braves (but not by much) who took a different approach and made some deals to address offense by adding Hanley and obviously has Trout the most dynamic player in baseball.. He took advantage of the SP market in the draft and has some trade chips becuase of it..
Key Weaknesses are 1B, Catcher and RP. (has some talent on the RFA side and the money to secure them.. Also If Belt can take that next step it will make the roster look alot better, needs to make a deal for a CL but has some SP chips to possibly make one..)
Key Strengths are SP, SS and Trout (If he can retain Cano 2nd base also becomes a strength.
Dodgers could be players and I see the Braves and Cardnials as being about a year away but that is now alot can change in a couple months.
