This is the likely last I will have to say on this particular situation (Waiver, re; Worley and Thornton). 1. I do not think Bobby did anything malicious - I simply disagree with the timing of the public ruling by the commish. [There is a difference between a warning or advice from a commish - or an other owner for that matter and a public edict by a commish. I have offered advice to other owners in a PM and received advice in the form of a PM. That was not the case here.] 1. Thank you for not seeing this as malicious. Posting that the Brew Crew lacked cash for the claim is not a ruling. It should be seen as an alert to a possible problem. 2. Timing: My post should not wait until the 48 are up. It indicates to other owners who wish to claim the player, that even tho the Brewers have higher priority, their claim may be no good. 3. As a courtesy to the Brewers, I also PMd the Brew Crew when I posted about the cash problem. I cannot remember the Crew ever going over the CAP in the past and perhaps it is my error. I fully expected the Crew to show me my error or clear the CAP in the remaining time and claim the player. 4. I have posted many times over the years questioning CAP and/or roster problems in bidding or elsewhere. Usually I am correct, but I have been wrong. If it is in a live thread, I think it is my job to post ASAP.
